About ADHD Wiki
A user manual built for the ADHD brain
ADHD Wiki started with a simple question: why is most content for people with ADHD so hard for an ADHD brain to read? We distill books and peer-reviewed research into short, usable cards—what to do first, why it works second.
Most websites for ADHD aren’t built for how ADHD brains read
There is plenty of information about ADHD online, yet most of it demands the very things ADHD makes hard: wading through walls of text, holding long introductions in working memory, or digging through academic jargon just to find one practical step.
We’ve tailored the reading experience to ADHD reading habits, making the content easier to take in.
Learning how to use your own brain changes everything
Many people live with ADHD for decades without knowing it. Instead, they spend years blaming themselves for being “inconsistent,” “undisciplined,” or unable to keep up with routines that look effortless for everyone else.
An ADHD brain isn’t a broken neurotypical brain; it runs on a different operating system. Once you recognize how yours works and stop forcing yourself into someone else’s template, life gets lighter and happier—and you unlock the momentum to achieve far more than you thought possible.
“You don’t need a different brain. You just need the manual for the one you have.”
A family of three in the UK, building for you and for ourselves
ADHD Wiki is made by a family of three living in the UK—and all three of us have ADHD.
After years of figuring out what works for our own brains, we now live happily and comfortably with ADHD. Whenever we read books, dug into clinical papers, or tested strategies at home, we wished for a quiet, trustworthy place to keep the points that actually helped.
We build and refine this wiki in our spare time as an ongoing project: a practical handbook for anyone learning to work with their brain, and one that the three of us still use every day.
